Puan Norhayati Binti Hassan, Senior Associate, graduated with an Honours Degree in Law, as well as, an Honours Degree in Syariah Law, from the International Islamic University, Malaysia. She was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2001, and joined our firm in the same year.
For the first few years, she focused on civil litigation with some exposure to conveyancing matters. Her scope of work shifted to conveyancing from 2004 onwards, and she is currently handling mainly sale contracts for secondary sales of real property, joint venture agreements and related banking works, especially Islamic Banking loan documentation works, while retaining her portfolio in some family and trust law matters at our Head Office.
Norhayati Hassan

Norhayati graduated with an Honours Degree in Law, as well as, an Honours Degree in Syariah Law, from the International Islamic University, Malaysia. She was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2001, and joined our firm in the same year.
She started her career as a civil litigation lawyer with some exposure to conveyancing matters. She focuses on debt recovery, trust and probate and family law matters Her scope of work then fully shifted to conveyancing from 2004 onwards, and she is well versed with handling mainly sale contracts for secondary sales of real property, real gains tax property and related banking works, especially Islamic Banking loan documentation works, while retaining her litigation portfolio in some non contentious court matters, family and trust law matters (inclusive small estate distribution) at our Head Office.
She also has a wide range of experience in corporate and commercial matters, drafting shareholders agreements, joint venture agreement, shares sale agreement, real property agreements, settlement agreement, and handling corporate/commercial loans either for the client/ borrower or for the banker client.
Norhayati is also involved with numerous real estate developers handling the sale and purchase transaction for residential and commercial shop lots (stratified title or non stratified title) and the banking loans related thereto and currently, her main area of specialization is the sale and development of Malay reserve lands and dealing with wound up developers for perfection of title and charge on behalf of either the Purchaser or the bank.
Datin Ong Yee Shyun

Datin Ong Yee Shyun, Senior Associate, graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree from the University of London, and obtained a Master Degree in Law (LL.M) from the University Malaya. She was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2005.
She joined our firm in 2012. Her prior experience working in prominent legal firms in Kuala Lumpur, involved acquisitions, corporate restructuring, corporate finance, drafting and negotiating commercial deals and attending to conveyancing and banking works.
Presently, she leads a team at our Kota Damansara office handling general conveyancing and banking matters for secondary property market and development projects including residential, mixed development, commercial and industrial developments. Her portfolio also includes general advisory work on property development projects, leases, tenancies and corporate/commercial loan transactions.
Ms. Teh Soh Bee
LL.B (Hons) Northumbria, UK, CLP
Ms. Teh Soh Bee, Senior Associate, graduated from the Northumbria University, England with an Honours Degree in Law. She was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2007.
She joined our firm in 2007 as an Associate and currently handling property conveyancing and banking work for mortgage and commercial loans for property development projects and secondary sale transactions at our Head Office. Her work also covers tenancy and lease agreements, franchising and agency agreements.
Due to her proficiency and efficiency in her performance, her portfolio mainly involves up-market properties and corporate loans. She also assists Dato’ K T Teh in merger and acquisition cases and high value property or shares transfer transactions. She is currently leading our legal team, servicing the KSL development project, known as Canary Garden in Klang.
Ms. Tan Shean Huey

Ms. Tan Shean Huey, Senior Associate, graduated from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with an Honours Degree in Law [LL.B (Hons)], and obtained her Master Degree in Law (LL.M) from the University of Malaya. She was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2009.
She joined our firm in 2012. During her pupilage at Messrs Tay & Helen Wong, Selangor, she gained very good exposure in the area of banking litigation, general litigation and some corporate work. She handled the portfolio for CIMB Bank Berhad on the debt recovery involving civil actions for recovery of housing loan, personal loan, term loan, hire purchase etc and the foreclosure proceedings for charged or assigned property.
Currently, she assists our Partners to supervise the operation and administration of our Johor Bahru office. She also handles the property conveyancing for housing projects and secondary sale transactions in Johor Bahru.
Mr. Teh Tai Sheng, Richard
LL.B (Hons) (London), CLP
Mr. Teh Tai Sheng, Richard, Senior Associate, graduated from the University of London with an Honours Degree in Law. He was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2010.
He joined our firm in 2010 as an Associate and is presently assisting our Partner, Dato’ T Y Teh at our office at Kota Damansara, Selangor. Prior to joining the legal profession, he worked with Citibank Berhad and CIMB Bank Berhad. His last position with CIMB Bank was a Loan Relation Manager.
Currently he is handling conveyancing work for property development projects, and his duties include establishing and maintaining good client-relationship with banks and financial institutions, as well as the potential clients for the firm. He is also in charge of the conveyancing and loan documentation works for some of the latest property development projects, by developers such as IOI Property Berhad and IJM Land Berhad.
Ms. Heah Ka Cheng, Jennifer

Ms. Heah Ka Cheng, Jennifer, Senior Associate, graduated from the University of Malaya with an Honours Degree in Law [LL.B (Hons)]. She was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2010.
She completed her pupilage at Messrs Kam Woon Wah & Co in 2009 under the guidance of Madam Dahlia Lee Wooi Mien where she assisted the Partners in handling general litigations, banking litigation, debt recovery and secondary sale transactions. Thereafter, she was retained in the firm as an Associate in 2010.
She joined our firm in 2011 as anAssociate. She is presently working at our office at Kota Damansara, Selangor, handling property conveyancing for housing projects, secondary sale transactions and trademark, assisting Dato’ T Y Teh with project works for SP Setia and EcoWorld.
