Datin Wong Kooi Heong, a Senior Partner of our firm, graduated with LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of London in 1992. She passed her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) examination in 1993. Datin Wong completed her pupillage training at a law firm in Kuala Lumpur and was called to the Malaysia Bar and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in January, 1994.
Datin Wong joined Messrs Omar Affandi & Teh as a Legal Assistant in 1994. Since then, her practice focused mainly on handling real property conveyancing and loan security and documentation works.
Datin Wong became one of our firm’s partners when our firm was set up on 1st July, 1996. She is currently a Senior Executive Partner who specialises in real property conveyancing and financing and loan security transactions and various types of commercial contract. She leads several teams to handle sale and purchase agreements for large scale property development projects, sub-sale conveyancing, mortgage and consumer banking works.
She is also the Head of our Finance and Administration and Human Resources Departments.
