Tan Shean Huey

Tan Shean Huey graduated from National University of Malaysia in 2008 with an Honours Degree in Law. She obtained her Master Degree in Law from University of Malaya in 2010. She completed her pupilage at Messrs. Tay & Helen Wong and was admitted as a Advocates and Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya in 2009.

She joined our firm as Associate at our Kota Damansara branch office in 2012 and relocated to our new branch office in Johor Bahru in 2013. She was admitted as a Partner of our firm in 2015 and is currently supervising the operation and administration of our branch office in Johor Bahru.

During the early days of her practice, she gained very good exposure in the areas of banking litigations, general litigations and corporate works. She was actively involved in the banking litigation for debt recovery for both civil actions and foreclosure proceedings.

With her exposure on the areas of banking and general litigations, it has greatly enlightened her on the legal drafting and negotiating to effectuate the clients’ needs and to anticipate potential legal disputes. She now specializes and focuses her practice predominantly in the areas of real estate, corporate and banking matters.

In banking matters, she advises and represents local and foreign financial institutions in various conventional and Islamic banking transactions, securitization of documents for various types of financing.

She is well-versed in advising foreign and local developers on property development and management related matters in Malaysia. She also specialises on all legal aspects of land matters, joint venture agreements, lease/tenancy agreements and sale and purchase agreements.

She has brought her diverse legal knowledge and skills in real estate and corporate matter to craft distinctive and effective legal strategies for her clients.
