Dato' Teh Kim Teh

Dato’ Teh Kim Teh is the Founder and Principal Partner of our firm. His first profession was a Chartered Secretary (ACIS) between 1978 to 1983 during which period he rendered professional services in company secretarial, accounting and taxation. 

Later, he proceeded to read law at the University of The West of England and graduated with an Honours Degree in Law in 1986 (LL.B Hons). He passed the Certificate In Legal Practice exam (CLP) in 1987.

Dato’ Teh Kim Teh has worked as a law lecturer in local colleges for about 4 years before he completed his pupillage training in 1990. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1991 as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. Dato’ Teh Kim Teh has also attended a CEO course in the Tsinghua University in Beijing, China in 2008-2009. He was awarded a Certificate in CEO with merit upon completion of the said course.  Since then, Dato’ Teh Kim Teh has practised law actively for more than 24 years and is currently a senior lawyer who possesses very wide spectrum of practical knowledge and experience in real property conveyancing, banking, corporate and commercial laws.

As the Principal Partner of our firm, besides supervising all policies, planning and management matters, Dato’ Teh Kim Teh  heads the corporate and property division of our firm where he oversees and supervises closely  all corporate merger and acquisition transactions, companies or businesses restructuring exercises, property development projects, joint venture deals, high end and high value property acquisition or disposal transactions, high profile corporate and commercial works and international investment transactions.

Dato’ Teh Kim Teh also devotes substantial time to community and welfare services. He is the current Chairman of Forum of 18 Clansman Associations in Klang District, Selangor, the President of the KlangHokkien Association, the Chairman of Eng Yong Teh Association of Selangor, the former Chairman of the Board of Governors of SMJK Kwang Hua, Klang, Selangor, Honorary Chairman, Committee Member and the Legal Advisor of other organisations including many vernacular Chinese schools, charity and community clubs and associations.  He is also an appointed Visiting Research Fellow for Southwest University of Political Science and Law at Chongqing, China (SWUPL).
