Jennifer Heah Ka Cheng

Jennifer graduated from the University of Malaya with an Honours Degree in Law. She was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2010.
She completed her pupillage at Messrs. Kam Woon Wah & Co. in 2009 during which she assisted the Partners in general litigation including banking litigation, debt recovery and conveyancing involving sale and purchase of property transactions in the secondary market. After completing her pupillage, she was retained as an Associate in the aforesaid firm.
Jennifer joined our Kota Damansara Office in 2011 as an Associate and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2015. She focuses her practice predominantly on real estate, banking and loan documentation, corporate and commercial matters and tenancies.
She has a wide range of experience in real estate matters and advises on complex acquisition and disposal of properties, property joint ventures, residential and commercial developments. She has experience advising and representing reputable developers, local and foreign real estate investors, commercial banks and listed and private companies.
In corporate and commercial matters, she has conducted due diligence exercises, drafting of shareholders agreements, subscription agreements, joint venture agreements, investment agreements, shares sale agreements, licence agreements, consultancy agreements, restructuring agreements, settlement agreements and many other agreements involved in corporate/commercial transactions.
Jennifer also handles applications for probate, small estate distributions, trademark registration and drafting of wills.
